Execute alsa after Sound Card message

Description Jonas MG 2005-01-30 03:07:32 UTC
1- Alsasound depends of coldplug to be able to detect the sound card.
Therefore alsasound would be due to execute after coldplug in the autoconfig init script.

2- After the installation of livecd-tools it must have a message indicating that certain init scripts are due to deactivate, since autoconfig executes them if it is necessary.

Those scripts would be: alsasound, coldplug, gpm, hotplug, net.eth0

Reproducible: Always

You're responsible for ensuring that alsasound is started properly when you build the LiveCD. In fact, if the alsasound init script is found, catalyst will automatically add it to the default runlevel.

Everybody doesn't use catalyst to create a live-CD, and I believe that message, would be very well for the people who do not use catalyst.

Do you have watched or tested the patch?
It allows to execute alsasound when you don't indicate 'nodetect', and after to have initiated coldplug
