I am having the same problem as the person in the bug above. I have tried using USE="gnome" and I was able to start compiling.

Aaargh, stupid bug in the ooo-build-system showing up again. Will fix soon, sorry for the inconvenience

Fixed this in cvs. Please give the mirrors some time to catch up and the emerge sync again, should work then
