The KDE Team has released its last Plasma 5.21 maintenance update yesterday, may 4th,2021.

Version 5.21.5.

However, the latest version in the Gentoo tree is 5.21.4.

I promise they know. It’s one guy who does the whole thing and he’s extremely on top of it. Plus they let things sit in the KDE overlay for a day or two sometimes I believe to let any issues come out there first.

You can actually see it in the overlay too and I imagine it’ll be in the main repository soon.
