i need rpz, so its a show stopper it does not work anymore :/

This isn't enough information, sorry. Could you please provide the full build.log of the compilation failing and emerge --info?

I think this is same as bug #785871 which unsurprisingly received the same treatment.

As I mentioned there, this should be fixed in ~arch's bind-9.16.3 though.
