What is your expert opinion on this? If it needs to be fixed, how can we do it, considering this is a binary-only package? Please advise. I don't think you can do wery match about it, you may send it upstream or make a wrapper script that change the localesettings for java and javac - the less good aboute wrapper scripts is that it will only affect cals to java and javac directly, not other lunchers linked to libjava.so (The JVM) and that other locale settings still will be wrong. Dead bug, dead herd -> closing, sorry. |
