After letting the argus daemon run for a while and then reading the output back in, I get the following:
argus[3393]: ArgusInitSource: Unknown packet file format
Is this a libpcap problem or an argus problem?

I'm cc-ing the netmon herd, in the hopes that someone there can point me to where exactly the problem is: libpcap or argus? Thanks in advance.

I don't know what ppc-macos uses for libpcap, it seems you have it in your package.provided.

Anyhow, I recently bumped argus to 2.0.6, you may want to check it out.
