For quite a while now when I hide the gui in Xine (fullscreen) the KDE Panel will appear. It will disappear when the gui is made to appear; when I right click to bring up a menu; or when i put it into window mode and make it full screen again.

The problem cam be fixed by allow application to cover the Panel in the Panel preferences (however I don't like this)

I'm not sure if it's a change in Xine-ui, Xine-lib or KDE it's self

I think the last time this worked properly was KDE 3.3.0 and one of the release candidates of Xine-lib and Xine-ui 0.99.2 (From memory)

I'm now using the beta of KDE 3.4 and the latest Xine from portage

This is a really annoying problem

I don't think we can do anything about it, please report it to http://bugs.kde.org.
