Bug 78143 – ebuild app-office/openoffice-1.1.4 fails during patching with Failed Patch: javafix.patch!

I run emerge openoffice, the source downloads, unpacks, and starts patching itself, and when it gets to javafix.patch it fails.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge openoffice
2.
3.

Actual Results:

Expected Results:  
Should have built itself and installed...  perhaps there is some sort of java
dependency that it should have but doesnt?
