Works without problems for me, so this is most likely a problem with your java setup. Which java version are you using? Also try to set the jvm with the jvmsetup program in the program dir of OOo / ooo-ximian. Can choose between: blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.01 blackdown-jre-1.4.2.01 java-config points to: blackdown-jdk-1.4.2.01 So did you try to change the setting with jvmsetup, did it change anything? Works for me, need feedback, until then: Closing. jvmsetup did help. Maybe it should be mentioned after installation. Just like some other apps (vmware) do. Something like: "If you need java support, then run /opt/openoffice/program/jvmsetup and complete the setup." Thanks! jvmsetup did help. Maybe it should be mentioned after installation.
