Comment 1 Andreas Proschofsky (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-14 06:26:54 UTC
Can you reproduce that bug? Also: Are you sure, you have enough diskspace free (4-6 GB on the relevant partition)
Comment 2 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-01-14 12:54:41 UTC
If it is reproducable, please attach a full build log. There is no apparent error in the part you posted and errors can sometimes be caused far from the point where they show up
Comment 3 Gunar Dierigen 2005-01-17 00:37:58 UTC
I know now why it crashed: openoffice needs more than 2 GB tmp space during the compile phase. That is a lot! A lot more than I have left on my Laptop. I will try it again later after i delete /var/tmp/portage and other useless dirs.
