ebuild for Radeon™ Software for Linux® 20.50.1234664
I have updated the ebuild with the latest driver for Ubuntu 20.04.1. I strictly use this ebuild to perform OpenCL number crunching with BOINC so I cannot confirm any ill effects with Blender. I ran the Phoronix Test Suite OpenCL benchmarks (shoc, cl-mem) without issue. Other than the low performance of my graphics card (RX460), there were no problems.
Looks like AMD has moved their packages to 'repo.radeon.com', which does not seem to include these things of old. May take a look into this if I find the time and energy sometimesoon(tm). |
