Description Eric Brown 2005-01-12 16:57:29 UTC
The new www-apps have been around for a while but it seems like people are reluctant to write new ebuilds for the system. As a new user to that eclass and the web-app config tool, I found it very confusing.

If web-apps are to become standard for deployment, we should provide clear documents on how the eclass works and how the related tools work (like webapp-config). This would make it much easier for people to make ebuilds for web-apps.

I would do this myself, but I don't really understand it all yet.

Okay, I just read on gentoo-dev that they're working on a handbook for webapps.
