New repository for l3afpad (GTK3 fork of leafpad): https://github.com/stevenhoneyman/l3afpad Is this just 'fork me on github' or legitimate/officially sanctioned by the former l3afpad maintainer? The original application (leafpad), which was created by Tarot Osuji hasn't been updated since 2010 and relies on GTK2. The new version (l3afpad) was created by Steven Honeymann, and is the one that I linked. Created attachment 866517 [details]
ebuild
It is not my main editor, but I have been using l3afpad regularly since early March last year using the attached ebuild.

The leafpad ebuild, references this particular URL http://tarot.freeshell.org/leafpad/ has not been updated. This is unrelated to the l3afpad ebuild. I have opened a bug report requesting a version bump for leafpad https://bugs.gentoo.org/911656. I have no preference, one over the other. leafpad and l3afpad work the same. |
