Debian does this with https://packages.debian.org/sid/heimdal-multidev and https://packages.debian.org/sid/krb5-multidev why can't gentoo?

Having one hard blocking the other doesn't scale since now openldap is hard requiring heimdal (before the only package hard requiring it was samba and it was possible to bundle it)
