When someone emerges a JRE/JVM, a message should be displayed informing the user of the user guide available from the Gentoo Doc Project [Gentoo Java Guide (http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/java.xml)]. This additions would help users figure out how to setup java on their own. This would also reduce the number of repetitive questions about java asked on the forums and irc. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

We (the Java herd) dont see how it would be helpful (Most Gentoo users are aware of the docs on the site). If you can give a good reason as to why it should be included, please feel free to appeal the resolution :-p.
