This seems to be an issue with other "Gentoo Wiki:" pages as well. I tried adding Gentoo Wiki:Feedback to my watchlist, and when I went to the "Edit watchlist" I saw Project:Feedback in the "Gentoo Wiki" category. Exiting and coming back to "Edit watchlist", Project:Feedback had dropped down to the "Project" category. Project:Feedback is a redlink like the Project:Guidelines I mentioned previously. |
When I go to watch Gentoo Wiki:Guidelines, at first it shows up in the watchlist changelog, but it drops out by itself. I think it may be adding Project:Guidelines to the watchlist instead (which is a redlink) even though it claims to add Gentoo Wiki:Guidelines. The associated Talk page shows up in the watchlist changelog just fine though. Editing the raw watchlist to have Gentoo Wiki:Guidelines instead of Project:Guidelines gives me this confirmation message: ``` Your watchlist has been updated. 1 title was added: Gentoo Wiki:Guidelines (talk) 1 title was removed: Project:Guidelines (talk) ``` Looking at the watchlist changelog, Gentoo Wiki:Guidelines shows up as expected. If I go to "Edit watchlist" I see Project:Guidelines under the "Gentoo Wiki" section. Exiting without making any changes and going back to the watchlist changelog I see that the Gentoo Wiki:Guidelines page is no longer listed. Returning again to "Edit watchlist," there isn't the "Gentoo Wiki" section anymore and Project:Guidelines has also moved into the "Project" section. This is repeatable. I edit my watchlist to remove Project:Guidelines and confirm that it no longer shows up in the watchlist changelog. I then browse to the Gentoo Wiki:Guidelines page, hit "Watch", a brief popup shows up saying Gentoo Wiki:Guidelines was added, and it shows up in the watchlist changelog. It seems to stay there until I go to "Edit watchlist." There I see Project:Guidelines listed instead in the "Gentoo Wiki" section. Going back to the watchlist changelog Gentoo Wiki:Guidelines has disappeared, and going to "Edit watchlist" again has Project:Guidelines under the "Project" section.
