Same xorg-server crash happens with games-action/extreme-tuxracer-0.7.5::gentoo. This bug will require deeper investiagation. Could you please try to recompile xorg-server and all its dependencies to ensure, that there is no broken lib left from an old update? After some upgrades it appears to work properly again, so it looks like something like this might indeed have been the problem.
