/var/log/messages -> Jan  6 11:20:42 iglu md: fsck.reiserfs(pid 383) used obsolete MD ioctl, upgrade your software to use new ictls.

installed: sys-apps/mdadm-1.7.0, sys-fs/reiserfsprogs-3.6.18

I notice this since a while and it doesn't seem to harm, but I thought it's better to track it.

have you tried 3.6.19 ?

Yes, when I wrote the above report. The warning seems to be gone.

marked 3.6.19 stable then for x86
