Do you still have this problem with dillo-0.8.4? sadly, no... bash-2.05b$ dillo Acolytes.html GLib-WARNING **: g_printf_string_upper_bound(): unable to handle positional parameters (%n$) GLib-WARNING **: g_printf_string_upper_bound(): unable to handle positional parameters (%n$) Dpi_check_uds: Connection refused /tmp/ajackson-43am5b/dpid.srs debug_msg - init_sockdir: The socket directory /tmp/ajackson-43am5b exists and is OK dpid started Capi_dpi_conn_timeout:: try 1 [file dpi]: (v.1) accepting connections... [file dpi]: dpip_tag = '<dpi cmd='open_url' url='file:/home/ajackson/Acolytes.html'>' bash-2.05b$ dillo -v Dillo 0.8.4-i18n-misc I cannot reproduce the bug. I tested dillo-0.8.4 with both glib-2.6.1 (~x86) and glib-2.4.8 (x86). Would you submit the output of `emerge --info`? bash-2.05b# emerge --info Portage 2.0.51-r15 (default-linux/x86/2004.0, gcc-3.3.5, glibc-2.3.4.20040808-r1, 2.4.20-gentoo-r6 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.4.20-gentoo-r6 i686 AMD Athlon(tm) Processor Gentoo Base System version 1.4.16 Python: dev-lang/python-2.2.3-r5,dev-lang/python-2.3.4 [2.3.4 (#1, Oct 20 2004, 20:02:51)] distcc 2.16 i686-pc-linux-gnu (protocols 1 and 2) (default port 3632) [disabled] dev-lang/python: 2.2.3-r5, 2.3.4 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.59-r6, 2.13 sys-devel/automake: 1.8.5-r2, 1.5, 1.4_p6, 1.6.3, 1.7.9, 1.9.4 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r1 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.10-r4 virtual/os-headers: 2.4.19, 2.4.21-r1 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O3 -march=i686 -funroll-loops -pipe" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.1/share/config /usr/kde/3.2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O3 -march=i686 -funroll-loops -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig ccache distlocks sandbox sfperms" GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://ftp.gtlib.cc.gatech.edu/pub/gentoo http://www.ibiblio.org/gentoo http://adelie.polymtl.ca/ ftp://ftp.ussg.iu.edu/pub/linux/gentoo http://gentoo.mirrors.pair.com/" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/home/portage" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="x86 X apm arts avi berkdb bitmap-fonts cdr crypt cups encode esd f77 fam flac font-server foomaticdb fortran gdbm gif gimpprint gphoto2 gpm gtk gtk2 imagemagick imlib ipv6 java jpeg kde libg++ libwww mad mikmod motif mozilla mpeg ncurses nls oggvorbis opengl oss pam pda pdflib perl png python qt quicktime readline samba sdl slang spell ssl svga tcltk tcpd tetex tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts usb xml2 xmms xv zlib" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS It looks like a relic. FYI, I cann't reproduce this bug on my ~ppc env (dev-libs/glib-{1.12.10-r5,2.10.3}, www-client/dillo-0.8.5-r3). And then -funroll-loops in global CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS is not recommended. It makes only unclear what the problem is, IMHO. Noone can reproduce this, closing. |
