The summary describes the problem: all versions of x11-themes/light-themes with USE=gtk3, including now stable 17.04_p20170406, depend on x11-themes/gtk-engines-unico which is hardmasked for removal in 30 days.

1. emerge -pvt x11-themes/light-themes
Actual Results:
