Well ati-drivers is known to be broken with xorg-x11-6.8.0 They work for you on 6.8.1.901??? Actually, it didn't. I thaught everything was OK, but something seems jaming it, so i did a downgrade on xorg, and everything was ok. My bad. No good. |
The latest ebuild for ati-drivers, 3.4.16 seems has been set to only work with a specific version of xorg. DEPEND=">=virtual/linux-sources-2.4 app-arch/rpm2targz || ( <x11-base/xorg-x11-6.7.99 >=x11-base/xfree-4.3.0 )" RDEPEND="|| ( <x11-base/xorg-x11-6.7.99 >=x11-base/xfree-4.3.0 )" shouldn't this be >= instead of <, as it is for xfree. Worked for me on the latest xorg 6.8.1.901. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
