When the new VM wizard is run and an existing zvol is chosen for the backing storage, and such zvol is created deep in the pool's hierarchy, the zvol name inserted to the VM config is incorrect - it misses the path component.

Example:

The correct zvol name is fast/VM/storage/schneider/system2021
The name inserted to the configuration: /dev/zvol/fast/system2021

After further testing, I'm not able to change the path to zvol in the VM creation dialog. When I edit the XML and change the <source> tag and apply changes, the path is reset back to the incorrect one - from /dev/zvol/fast/VM/storage/schneider/system2021 back to /dev/zvol/fast/system2021

I tried to change other parts of <disk> in XML editor - they are applied w/o issue.

Would you mind opening an upstream bug report for this issue?

Upstream considers this a new requirement and they don't want to implement it. It is sad. I have no leverage in this discussion :-(
