xorg-x11 6.8.1.901 will terminate session upon XScreenSaver execution.  This is done by gnome when system is left idle.

Unable to reproduce on xorg-x11 < 6.8.1.901

can you get any sort of debugging or error outputs on this, I can't reproduce with .901

Okay, Ive been unlucky it seems.  The issue is not with Xorg, rather its glx implementation.  Unable to reproduce on Xorg < 6.8.1.901  This implies that the issue is not with XScreenSaver but with glx.  Relabeling the summary field as such.

Issue is resolved through xorg-x11-6.8.2.902
