USE="mad" emerge xmms
..gives me an xmms that does not show full pathnames in playlist.

If I do:
USE="-mad" emerge xmms 

I again have an xmms that enables me to show full pathnames in the playlist. It also works if I in the preferences-menu of XMMS disable the "MAD MPEG Decoder plugin".

Please file this bug with the developer of xmms-mad.

I'd just deprecate the whole thing. What use has it when mpg123 does it's job?
