Just had a look at this .. could it be that clamav is not installed (correctly) in the chroot / tinderbox ? it installs fine here. setting to NEEDINFO (In reply to Thomas Raschbacher from comment #7) > Just had a look at this .. could it be that clamav is not installed > (correctly) in the chroot / tinderbox ? > > it installs fine here. > > setting to NEEDINFO It fails at recent image (17.1_no-multilib_hardened-20210307-142948) too - will attach files soon. appeared recently at the tinderbox image 17.1_no-multilib_hardened-20210307-142948 Created attachment 691062 [details]

The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=ee9b22423b16e3c7a763a8eb7009a9f8696ef85d commit ee9b22423b16e3c7a763a8eb7009a9f8696ef85d Author: Thomas Raschbacher <lordvan@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2021-04-07 19:16:14 +0000 Commit: Thomas Raschbacher <lordvan@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2021-04-07 19:16:14 +0000 dev-perl/File-Scan-ClamAV: move clamav to DEPEND as Makefile.PL looks for it Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/761900 Package-Manager: Portage-3.0.18, Repoman-3.0.3 Signed-off-by: Thomas Raschbacher <lordvan@gentoo.org> dev-perl/File-Scan-ClamAV/File-Scan-ClamAV-1.950.0.ebuild | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) Ok this was actually simply an oversight .. it seems Makefile.PL looks for clamav binary before compiling. moved app-antivirus/clamav from RDEPEND to DEPEND so that clamav is definitely installed. I am pretty sure this solves the problem, but please let me know if it still persists.
