Here you can see the difference. There were no changes in settings etc, just upgrade of those dev-qt packages.
There has been no other report of this kind in Gentoo and I have not seen anything similar on any system of mine. The patch from January went upstream into 5.14.1 and there have been only two commits touching the file since our fix, both are already in 5.15.1: https://github.com/qt/qtbase/commit/e1254f0700bcdc51781468d93ae94a158d18a8df https://github.com/qt/qtbase/commit/8f6ef542ba7050f39eb9c6062871240a1a62ea42 Which means this is a different issue. Please try to reproduce your problem with a fresh test user profile. Then, please go directly to upstream (bugs.kde.org) with as much information as possible, starting with X11 vs. Wayland session behavior, any scaling settings you have in systemsettings, any nondefault settings you made in X11 config, and of course the fact that 5.15.2 behaves differently to 5.15.1.
