Please always attach proposed changes as a unified diff (diff -up). I thought new eBuilds should always be submited as complete files, since there isn't an previous version: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/ebuild-submit.xml the proposed changes relates to previous airsnort Versions/eBuilds which required gnomeui. net-wireless/airsnort-0.2.4a is already in portage. When filing an enhancement request/bug report about a version bump which needs changes in the ebuild you should always provide a unified diff containing these proposes changes. Well, but this Bug is about airsnort-0.2.7c, which isn't in portage. So you suggest a diff from airsnort-0.2.4a.ebuild to airsnort-0.2.7c.ebuild? Correct. This is standard policy.
