With the latest portage snapshot I still seem to get the error in bug #58540.
Was there ever any resolution for it?

the latest version is marked ~amd64, but you don't have that set in your keywords. Did you try with orbit-2.12.0 ?

Yeah I tried

ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64" emerge orbit

and it had the exact same problem. Yes, it was the latest version.

In the future, just leave a comment on the exisitng bug. Even though it is resolved we still get bugmail and will be aware. I'll reopen that bug
