I have the same problem with media-sound/beets-1.4.9-r2 and python 3.8.6 According to https://github.com/beetbox/beets/issues/3674 problem will be reproducible with any version of Python more recent than 3.7. Hello everyone, yes I already noticed that issue and added a fix for it, it is actually being reviewed, you can help by trying the upgraded version, here: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/16046 Thank you I was able to update using the ebuild for beets-1.4.9-r3 that can be found at https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/16046 I no longer have the error with beets with Pythong 3.8.6 Fixed by the merge of #693164 |
