kde and icdewm ebuilds fail to emerge when dev-util/dialog aborts when ebuilding 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge icewm or kde
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
emerge aborts with failure of dev-util/dialog ebuild fails

Expected Results:  
should have installed kde and icewm

Bill: Change the summary to "dev-util/dialog-<x>.<y> fails to install" or something like that. Also provide `emerge info` please.

Also please include the output when it does abort.

The error was that ncurses had to be reinstalled with an updated version.

Since I have reinstalled the system, I cannot give you the corrrect error message, however simply re-emerging ncurses removed all errors.
