Description Pablo De Nápoli 2004-12-27 05:38:04 UTC
xine-lib-1.0 fails to build, here you have the error messages:

QA Notice: USE Flag 'macos' not in IUSE for media-libs/xine-lib-1.0
QA Notice: USE Flag 'macos' not in IUSE for media-libs/xine-lib-1.0
configure: WARNING: If you wanted to set the --build type, don't use --host.
If a cross compiler is detected then cross compile mode will be used.
Package speex was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `speex.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'speex' found
tail: `-1' option is obsolete; use `-n 1' since this will be removed in the future
/usr/lib/portage/bin/ebuild.sh: line 199: --with-w32-path=/usr/lib/win32: No such file or directory

!!! ERROR: media-libs/xine-lib-1.0 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 202, Exitcode 127
!!! Configure failed
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

As you can see, there are two more minor problems
- speex is not detected by pkg-config because there is no
speex.pc in /usr/lib/pkgconfig
(I'm using media-libs/speex-1.0.2

- macos should be added to IUSE

Here is my emerge info
