The workaround is obvious (`emerge net-vpn/wireguard-modules`), but probably it's good idea to add ewarn to ebuild to let people know they'll get unexpected issues with network settings after updating to this kernel version. The bug has been closed via the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=cb4360298b692668b4c3002e6b20216439f57534 commit cb4360298b692668b4c3002e6b20216439f57534 Author: Mike Pagano <mpagano@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2020-11-26 15:17:38 +0000 Commit: Mike Pagano <mpagano@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2020-11-26 15:17:38 +0000 sys-kernel/gentoo-sources: Add wireguard patch Closes: https://bugs.gentoo.org/756781 Package-Manager: Portage-3.0.9, Repoman-3.0.2 Signed-off-by: Mike Pagano <mpagano@gentoo.org> sys-kernel/gentoo-sources/Manifest | 3 +++ .../gentoo-sources/gentoo-sources-5.4.80-r1.ebuild | 28 ++++++++++++++++++++++ 2 files changed, 31 insertions(+) |
