I've tried attaching the build.log, but bugzilla complains that it's too large (5MB)

Shouldn't be needed either way, looks like duplicate of bug #756334

emerge --sync and try again, looking at the dates you are missing the fix.

It's because when you searched, the "Resolution:" field had selected only "---" (the default), but if you (also) select "FIXED" it will find it. I got bit by this multiple times.
