gtk+-2.6.0 was relased, and is binary compatible with 2.4.x (so it is simply a drop in replacement).  A number of patches in the 2.4.x series of ebuilds still apply, so i've left them in the ebuild.  The amd64 lib64 specific fixes will probably have to be generated again
