I'm not sure releng can help you with this, but your "ls" output looks odd to me-- I think your symlink target needs to be lib64, not lib64/ (note trailing /) I would try: rm /usr/lib && ln -s lib64 /usr/lib Recreating the symlink without the slash helped.
