Description Nick Kossifidis 2020-10-28 15:01:31 UTC
www-client/firefox after the 81.0 and 78.3 ebuilds merged on 1st of October don't contain the bindist use flag. This breaks binary repositories where people created custom firefox builds for multiple hosts on their organization. We are now forced to compile firefox on every host.

I think you misunderstood; Firefox is now binary redistributable without the flag.

The flag only exists where it’s not binary reproducible by default.
Comment 2 Nick Kossifidis 2020-10-28 17:08:01 UTC
Then why does it recompile on all my hosts instead of being fetched from binhost ?

Anyway thanks for the update and the quick response, if it's not the bindist flag it's probably something on my end, I'll check it out again and come back if needed.

All good turns out the package never made it to the repo, sorry for the mess and again thanks for your time :-)
