After emerge of apache2 /etc/init.d/apache2 start fails with:
castor log # /etc/init.d/apache2 start
 * Starting apache2...(2)No such file or directory: apache2: could not open err.
Unable to open logs
  [ !! ]

Creation of the /var/log/apache2 directory fixes error.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Emerge apache2
2.Attempt to start apache2 daemon
3.

Actual Results:  
Apache daemon does not start.

Expected Results:  
Apache daemon start.
