hydra work with gtk+-1.2 and gtk+-2.* both, but USE falg is only for gtk-1.2, but i'm use ohly gtk2.

the gtk flag does not tag gtk1 and gtk? ( >=x11-libs/gtk+-1.2 ) does not exclude gtk+-2

But does not include. USE="-gtk +gtk2" exclude the xhydra from build, yes it is maybe possible modifi /etc/portage/...., 
How to specify that can be used only gtk2, mplayer use gtk flag, but i cannot install gtk1, i must set "-gtk", because gtk1 flag does not exist :).
