The X Server crashes when using the downloaded Eclipse STS Bundle. The crash can be reliably reproduced when opening the Eclipse Market menu item on version 1.20.9. The version 1.20.8 crashes as well but not with the same stacktrace. I am aware that Elipse STS is not a distribution package.

Can you add Xorg.0.log?

You can try the 1.20 branch:
copy xorg-server-9999.ebuild and add EGIT_BRANCH="server-1.20-branch"

Looks like the 1.20.10 is way off, maybe Gentoo should add a snapshot ?
