thanks brady, will work on this right brady, I've added some stuff to the r3 ebuild which should install the java bits now. unfortunately, I had to use Mandrake's java binary stuff, coz the java source is sooooo old and deprecated (and some may say, decrepit) that it does not even compile on modern java compilers. please test and report. well, it's in portage and masked... unless we can get some java programming gurus to update the java source, that's the best we can do, I'm afraid. prefer tightvnc to vnc anyway, from what I hear. |
