I'd like to request a port or reimplementation of the Debian "vrms"
program.  This stands for "Virtual RMS" (Richard M. Stallman) and gives a
monthly report on any non-free software on the system (if any.)

There are a couple of scripts in this thread which could serve as a basis for a Gentoo vrms; the real challenge is going through all of the licenses and deciding which are free (since we don't have the luxury of a "non-free" repository to easily check the contents of).
