tar -xvf portage.tar
tar was recompiled cleanly. However, it can't untar potage.

For the scp thing, I must correct myself.
I can scp to some mashines, but not to my laptop. Is perhaps something wrong
with sshd on the laptop.
The problem I described above, are caused by the ldap configuration. After changing /etc/nsswitch.conf to another configuration (without ldap) all the problems are gone. No I recompile ldap, go thru my LDAP configuration. Shame myself ;-( (change the bugreport to invalid) |
