Time for 0.6.1 to see the light; this is mainly a bug fix, not any huge new feature within, changelog: 

New: Mouse wheel on systray raise/lower the main volume
New: Added initial sk.po (Jozef Riha
New: For those items that support it, independent channel mute can be set
Fixed: Hopefully fixed a compile warning on Mandrake 10.1
Fixed: split yellow leds were not always set to correct value on startup
Fixed: a misreading in config file made "always load on systray" non working anymore
Cleanup: internally, code was revisited a little bit, especially about the config parsing that has been much improved; moreover, many compile warns have been gone; and more, some useful ALSA shortcut functions have been used

Hi,

an ebuild can be found @ ftp://polynomial-c.homelinux.net/pub/polynomial-c/gentoo/portage/media-sound/kamix/

It's dircetly derived from 0.5.7 ebuild with only RESTRICT="nomirror" added to not abuse gentoo-mirrors.
