Issue: sci-electronics/klayout-0.26.5 fails to compile.
Discovered on: amd64 (internal ref: ci)

Not much to debug here. 

Something is broken in the environment (and it's not USE=-native-symlinks).

the problem here looks to be that it fails in configure phase but it is going into compile phase blindly.
