When emerging e2fsprogs with the "static" USE-flag (which could e.g. be usefull on a server) xfsprogs fails to emerge because /lib/libuuid.so is lacking (which is, on my normal system, provided by e2fsprogs). When emerging e2fsprogs -static, the lib is installed, and xfsprogs compiles nicely.

nice - unfortunately portage is not yet able to care for "ebuildX w/ flagY" dependencies
