hi mikael, the ebuild looks clean and builds fine.

However, the application does not seem functional on my test system; feeding audio through the fx return to the master or monitor works fine but I'm not able to route the sound through the channel strips.

Well I haven't tried it myself =)
Someone just pointed out that it wasn't in portage so I glued an ebuild for it...

This thing eat lots of cpu cycle and I can't quite dig how it works. I get
mostly scratchy noise with the intended sound playing far away in the
background. Also, the development seems to be stopped.
Comment 5 Frank van de Pol (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-17 09:50:45 UTC
This release seems to be not fully functional on some systems (I've yet to find
a machine where it does work). Unfortunate the application doesn't seem to be
actively maintained anymore.
I'm therefore closing this bug. Please reopen if required.
