I hope I've done this bugrepport in a correct way. I've serched for the error before I submited, and found some similar in that whay that they all preduced the "Error 65280 occured...". But as I didn't see anything else that was directly similar to my problem, I filed this bug. // Kim Westlund
Comment 1 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-11 11:21:55 UTC
maybe broken hardware, you may ran out of memory, retry it with a stable gcc
Comment 2 Jacob Chacko 2004-12-13 05:18:21 UTC
Recompile and then do a dmesg. I got the same error, and the last line in dmesg output was:
Out of Memory: killed process 29469 (cc1plus)

Carsten: any suggestions to fix out of memory (besides getting more memory ;)
Comment 3 Andreas Proschofsky (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-13 05:22:12 UTC
My advice would be: Get more memory ;)

Seriously: How much do you have? Anyway, there is not a lot we can do about this, I'm afraid :-/
Comment 4 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-14 01:30:32 UTC
I believe you need at least 256 MB to compile ooffice, but it also depends on the amount of swap you have. In any case it's nothing we can fix beyond finding the problem
