I have to ask, is your disk full? Nope, plenty of space on that partition. Also running it from console doesn't reveal any "can't write" messages. When you change your preferences, are you going into the Tools->Preferences window to do it, or are you changing it from the Options dropdown in the conversation window? If you are doing the latter, those changes only apply to that specific conversation and are not saved. Only if you change them via Tools->Preferences are they saved and used globally. I just want to know exactly what you're doing and how you're doing it. I tried both. Seems like i made a mistake: when disabling sound via Tools - Preferences - Sound the sound actually is disabled, but in a chatwindow it still has the V in front of it. As for the formatting toolbar, never even saw the hide option Tools - Preferences. My mistake, i guess you can close this one. Closing then. |
