Ah, and it also seems to overwrite the current log file. Not good. Not good at all. After I moved the touching of the quarantine.log file to pkg_postinst() in my overlay (I believe that's the proper action) I saw a chown that does things to files that are not prefixed with ${ROOT}, while others are. Please fix that too.
