I had started a thread: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?p=1852751#1852751 A partial solution for the Master volume is to add this to the virtual machine config: pciSound.enableVolumeControl = "FALSE" We need to change the .vmx file by hand, though. PCM volume was still lowered to 39%. This is totally a VMWare issue with their software. Take it up with them, honestly. |
